How To Get Started In Printmaking

Hi, I'm Jo Lankester and I would like to thank you for joining me today.

Have you ever wanted to know how to get started in printmaking? Are you keen to learn how printmaking is done? Do you know anyone who is a printmaking artist, someone who has knowledge and skills to help you on your way?

If not ring your local TAFE and inquire if they offer courses in printmaking, book yourself in and get started straight away. This is one art form that is technical and creative. You will hopefully find a group of people who are just as interested in the techniques & processes and keen to learn everything there is to know about printmaking.

Most likely you will learn the more traditional printmaking processes of relief , woodblock and linocut or otherwise known as linoleum cut, then move on to intaglio printing, etching and hopefully lithography.

Warmly
Jo Lankester

They can because they think they can.
